The Open Book Test Podcast with Alison Levey

Cam Kormylo: Teachable moments from a series of (un)fortunate events!

Season 1 Episode 11

Notre Dame was Cam's first choice for college but, in a trend that would continue, the choice was somewhat made for him due to a lack of other options. So, although his path was often defined by NOT getting exactly what he thought he wanted, he ultimately found something that kept his attention and curiosity so much that he decide to pursue it all the way to a PhD in Business Information Technology. This is not something a lot of business students consider but can be a very attractive option for all the reasons Cam shares. We also talk a little bit about the Myers-Briggs test (free option here) and how a deeper understanding of your personality can help you be more comfortable with decisions that feel like they are coming a little bit out of left field but make perfect sense to those who know you well.
